The Errin Legacy: - Cont'd From "Everything They Wanted, Just Smaller"

So Molqui inevitably ran into a woman as certifiable as him. Max 'Molqui' Errin and Annika Day* were wed. Already, some things had to change. Annika kept bashing her head on the shelving units**, so they rejiggled the room a little, facing the bed to the opposite wall (and telly), and letting the bookcase have a new home in the kitchen (because both were a little uncomfortable with Molqui's signed picture of Gok Wan*** grinning down at them when they were in bed together).

Previously, Molqui in his vanity had been using his SIMbian phone as the prime source of a mirror (what a brilliant excuse to upload a new profile pic [i]every[/i] morning!), but that, he decided, was no way for a happily married man to behave around his lady - a beautiful mirror was installed in the bathroom.

It was not long before Annika became pregnant.
Faced with an imminent new life in their home, the couple took out a loan in order to secure an extension to the bedroom - room for a staircase leading up to what would be the new babe's room. This they built together, because Molqui was far too precious about his house and wife to let any burly builders in. Molqui and Annika left nothing unconsidered in their decor choices - everything pink, blue AND yellow (colours which Molqui was already partial too .. they would, erm, match the rest of the house). They made sure to purchase the best quality babyware, and put together a small sandpit outside at the cost of a much-lusted but un-babysafe decking solution - with the sandpit in place, there would be no chance of their child escaping and falling into the pond. Feeling safe in their own genius, the couple went on to spend the rest of their budget on more trees and some lilies for the pond which had flooded much bigger last rainy season.
One night, Annika's contractions began. Molqui came over all teenage-boy and didn't know whether to faint, throw up with worry, or walk away and watch TV.

After long, Annika gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, who they named Anya. The pair had wanted to have a daughter first, and all their hard work certainly paid off as far as karma was concerned.
